What is VI peel? VI Peel® is a pharmaceutical-grade chemical peel for clients of all skin types with various skin conditions. Over time, the largest organ of the human body, our skin, is exposed and, at times, damaged by stressors such as the sun’s UV rays, natural aging, neglect, hormonal changes, and other environmental exposures. These factors can lead to sunspots, oily and congested skin, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, dark spots, acne, and other conditions. The VI Peel® is a liquid solution applied to your facial area to correct these factors. How does it work? VI Peel® is divided into categories based upon each client’s needs. It is safe for all skin types (Fitzpatrick 1-6) and age groups from ages 13 and up. Our doctor assesses your skin and provides the optimal VI Peel® in alignment with your goals. Like most chemical peels, VI Peel® removes the outermost layer of the skin. It allows your skin to create a new smooth layer, resulting in softening fine lines and wrinkles, correcting uneven skin tone, and more. It also unclogs pores and kills bacteria that cause acne. It is essentially painless (with mild tingling for the first few seconds), and the procedure takes 30 minutes. Some clients need several treatments to achieve optimal results. Clients can enjoy their beautiful, more youthful skin in about one week.
